FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves applying optical radiation in blue bandwidth of 410-480 nm. Mucous membrane of oral cavity and pharynx is exposed to blue light at a dose of 0.04 J per 1 kg of body mass for children of middle and elder age group and for adults and at a dose of 0.1 J for newborns and early postnatal age. 3-4 sessions are given per day. The total treatment course is 4-20 procedures long.
EFFECT: accelerated treatment course; low costs; no adverse side effects.
