METHOD OF TREATING RESPIRATORY CHLAMYDIOSIS IN CHILDREN Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC A61N5/06 A61G10/02

Abstract RU 2570036 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: antibacterial, immunocorrective and mucolytic therapies are combined with an environmentally controlled halotherapy with the dry saline aerosol concentration of 3-5 mg/m3, at temperature 22-24°C and relative humidity 45-70%. A length of one procedure is 30-40 minutes. That is followed by a procedure of a photochromotherapy. Patient's infraclavicular and inguinal projections are continuously exposed to blue narrow-band optical light-emitting diode for at least 4 minutes per each region. A light source is held at max. 1 cm from the skin. A wavelength is 450-480 mcm. The procedure is stable. A radiated power is 15-20 mW; a power density is 2.5-3 mW/cm2. A total exposed area makes 12.25 cm2; a total exposure dose per one procedure makes 1.5-2 J/cm2. A total exposure time is at least 16 minutes. The therapeutic course consists of 7-10 daily procedures.

EFFECT: method provides preventing the chronic course of respiratory chlamydiosis and formation of extrarespiratory complications by bactericidal action, improved phagocytic properties of leukocytes, toxic action on infectious chlamydial agents, anti-inflammatory action, elimination of tissue oedema and hypoxia.
