FIELD: separation of solid particles from fluid medium flow.
SUBSTANCE: flow containing solid particles moves over flow-through passage whose one wall is provided with built-in projections, bulges or convexities. Section of passage located diametrically opposite to this wall is fully or partially porous. When medium containing solid particles flows through trap, solid particles deflect towards porous wall sticking to it. Particles stuck to wall may be removed by regeneration.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of separation of solid particles.
