FIELD: research of materials with variable optical density with the aid of optoelectronic aids, in particular, creation of instrumental methods for determination of transmission spectra in the visible area of protective materials of means of individual protection of eyes against high-intensive thermal injurious factors such as luminous radiation of an explosion, for example, of a nuclear one, etc.
SUBSTANCE: use is made of a video camera with a spectrometric cap and a video recording of the light pulse from the source of optical radiation simulating a high-energy burst radiation that has passed through the protective material of means of individual protection of eyes.
EFFECT: provided research in determination of transmission spectra in the visible area of protective materials in the conditions of action of highly intensive optical radiations, as well as of their variation during the process.
