FIELD: engineering of devices for visually checking securities and/or documents, which are protected from forgery, and may be used, in particular, for creating video complexes, which ensure conduction of examinations at qualitatively high level.

SUBSTANCE: video complex contains a set of video sources, connected to interface block for controlling adjustment units, management and commutation of outputs of video sources, to inputs of which outputs of video sources are connected respectively, and its output is connected to one of ports of computer system block, where at least one of video sources is made in form of spectral camera which has a body with viewing port, inside which illumination sources are positioned which are direct in ultraviolet, infrared and individual sections of visible spectrum of wave lengths and indirectly falling broadband sources and in given sections of visible spectrum of wave lengths, video camera, and also block for switching light filters with autonomous drive, where radiation sources and block for switching light filters are made with possible interface management of options and modes of operation of illumination sources and selection of light filter appropriate for given range of illumination. Video sources may be made in form of colored camera, which contains body with viewing port, inside of which video camera of colored image and illumination sources of directly and indirectly falling white light; in form of observation camera which contains a body with viewing port, inside which a video camera of black and white image and illumination sources of direct infrared and white light are positioned; and in form of video source, which contains a body with viewing port, inside of which a magneto-optical camera is positioned with possible interface management. To examine objects in passing light the video complex is provided with an additional illumination table, which contains a body with light-dissipating window and a reflector and emitters in infrared and visible ranges of wave lengths positioned inside the body.

EFFECT: increased quality of conduction of expertise and reduced costs of operations, connected to examination of broad class of documents, banknotes, securities and other materials.
