FIELD: petroleum processing.
SUBSTANCE: process of producing fuel distillates useful as motor fuels and jet engine fuels is distinguished by that residual oil stock (mazut, goudron, heavy crude oils) is mixed with combustible shale containing 45-60% of mineral material and 40-55% of organics and shale oil fraction 200-400°C having at least 10.0% hydrogen, amount of combustion shale being 1 to 5% and that of shale oil fraction 1.0 to 6.0% of the weight of oil stock. Resulting mixture is homogenized in mixing device at temperature not below 80°C and subjected to thermal conversion or hydrocracking. Products obtained are treated to isolate fuel distillates: gasoline, diesel fuel, vacuum gas oil.
EFFECT: increased yield of valuable products and reduced their cost price.
