FIELD: oil and gas production.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to oil processing industry, in particular to methods for processing of heavy fuel-oil residue into fuel distillates, by means of thermal cracking with application of donor-solvent processes. Invention relates to method, in which heavy fuel-oil residue are mixed with organomineral activator, for instance ground combustible shale, taken in amount of 1-15% per mixture, with mixture of extract of selective oil treatment, containing 0.1-15% of active hydrogen taken in amount of 0.5-15 wt % per mixture of heavy fuel-oil residue, with organomineral activator by mechanochemical method. Extract of selective oil treatment is previously mixed with organomineral activator by mechanical method. Then produced three-component mixture is homogenised in mixing device at the temperature of 80-100°C, and thermal cracking of produced mix is carried out to further withdraw target products. Invention also relates to plant for production of light oil.

EFFECT: increased yield of light oil, reduced coke formation and prime cost of finished goods.
