FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method involves transforming power supply source energy into high frequency electromagnetic energy high frequency alternating voltage transformer, increasing its potential in high frequency transformer and transferring the energy as plasma using needle-type plasma-producing electrode to a surface under treatment. Increase in high frequency electromagnetic energy potential in the high frequency transformer is carried out at resonance frequency with stationary current and voltage waves being produced therein with 1/4 period large phase displacement and voltage antinode being created in high frequency transformer high voltage winding output connected to plasma-producing electrode. The needle-type plasma-producing electrode is introduced into laboratory flask manufactured from transparent dielectric material like quartz and filled with metal vapor. Plasma luminous in optical and ultraviolet bandwidth light is produced in the flask with high frequency transformer voltage being transmitted to flask shell so that working torch of cold plasma is formed between external flask surface and surface under treatment. Device has power supply source, alternating high frequency voltage transformer with controllable frequency and high frequency transformer having low voltage and high voltage windings. Outputs of low voltage winding are connected to the needle-type plasma-producing electrode and the second one is insulated. Conic or spherical plasma-producing electrode is introduced into the flask filled with metal vapor and manufactured from transparent dielectric material like quartz. The plasma-producing electrode optionally has light-emitting diode.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; improved accuracy in treating wound surface.
