FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: plasma disinfector comprises a dielectric body with high-voltage and grounded electrode mounted on a surface thereof and spaced at least 50 mm. The body encloses a constant-voltage source and a high-frequency voltage transducer with an output voltage adjuster. A storage capacitor and series commutation switch, loop resistor and pulse transformer an input low-voltage winding of which is connected to the storage capacitor and loop resistor and one of the outputs of an output high-voltage winding of which is connected to a limiting resistor which is connected to a high-voltage electrode, and the other output of which is connected to the grounded electrode, are connected to an output of the voltage transducer. The commutation switch is presented in the form of a gas-filled discharger having a breakdown voltage of 100-1000 V, while a high-voltage electrode is presented in the form of an end-rounded cone with a radius of 2-10 mm.
EFFECT: higher operational stability of the device with uniform and effective disinfectant exposure on a wound surface.
