FIELD: metal working.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises throttling working fluid through passages of the regular microrelief on the edges of the edged tool. During roughing machining, the fluid is supplied to the front edge of the edged tool, the depth of the passages of the regular microrelief being in coincidence with the direction of moving cheap and is equal to 0.02-0.8 of the depth of the passages of the regular microrelief positioned at an angle of 45°-90° to the direction of the vector of cheap movement along the front edge of the edged tool. During finishing, the fluid is supplied to the back edge of the edged tool, the passages of the regular microrelief being directed along the vector of the major velocity of machining oppositely to the direction of gravity. The fluid is supplied to the front and back edges as drops through the passages of the regular microrelief whose depth exceeds the value of the thermal-flexible recovering of the blank material over the cutting surface by 10-100 μm. The fluid may be supplied as drops from the height within 10-100 mm.
EFFECT: easer machining.
