FIELD: solid combustible mineral processing.
SUBSTANCE: raw material is subjected to pyrolysis in upper fluidized bed of reactor in hydrogen-containing gas flow, which is generated in lower fluidized bed by treatment of solid raw material residue descending from upper fluidized bed with mixture of water steam and oxygen-containing gas. Pyrolysis is carried out at 440-820°C, while maintaining temperature by controlling consumption of oxygen-containing gas. Optimum treatment conditions for each type of raw material such as shales, fossil coals, vegetable biomass is selected by varying temperature in pyrolysis and gasification stages. Method can also be employed un processes of destructive distillation of carbon-containing materials to produce gas, coke, tar, and similar products.
EFFECT: simplified process, reduced expenses, and enlarged assortment of raw materials to be processed.
