FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, dust catching equipment adapted for location in extension pipe for reducing amount of dust caught in paper filter.
SUBSTANCE: dust catching apparatus has cyclone-type casing provided with air admission channel and air exit channel providing creation of cyclone-type flow in dust-laden air sucked through air admission channel. Dust collector detachably attached to cyclone-type casing is adapted for collecting of dust separated from air by means of cyclone-type flow. Unit provided with grid part is disposed in the vicinity of air admission channel end within casing of cyclone-type catcher, said unit being adapted for preventing dust from passage in backward direction through air admission channel of said casing. Apparatus is further equipped with finely-dispersed dust filtering means arranged at downstream end of unit provided with grid part of casing. The given means is adapted for separating of finely-dispersed dust, which has not been separated by means of unit with grid part, and has filter receiving part provided on casing of cyclone-type catcher and equipped with part made in the form of aperture opened in direction perpendicular to air exit channel. Filtering unit is detachably mounted into filter receiving part.
EFFECT: reduced amount of dust filtered in paper filter and increased service life of paper filter.
