FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus is positioned between first air inlet channel connected with unit equipped with suction channel, and second air inlet channel connected with vacuum creating device of vacuum cleaner. Apparatus has cyclone catcher casing having first through opening connected with first air inlet channel, second through opening provided on lower end and adapted for connection with second air inlet opening, and cyclone chamber for separating of contaminant particles from air drawn into chamber through first through opening by centrifugal force and for collecting of contaminating particles therein, and air inlet pipe having inlet part provided in cyclone chamber, and outlet part extending through lower side of cyclone chamber wherein contaminating particles are accumulated and connected with second through opening. Cyclone catcher casing is additionally provided with upper part having first through opening connected to first inlet channel, and dust collector detachably connected to cyclone catcher upper part for defining cyclone chamber. Dust collector has first zone which defines cyclone chamber when dust collector and cyclone catcher upper part are connected to one another, and second zone fluidly communicating with first zone through air inlet pipe. Second zone is opened and closed by means of closing member through which second through opening is extending. Vacuum cleaner has unit provided with suction channel and adapted for sucking of contaminating particles from surface to be cleaned, vacuum cleaner casing having vacuum creating device connected to unit equipped with suction channel through first and second air inlet channels with dust collecting chamber disposed between first and second air inlet channels, and cyclone dust catching device detachably positioned in dust collecting chamber and connected with first and second air inlet channels.
EFFECT: simplified manufacture of vacuum cleaner, provision for simultaneous maintenance of filtering chamber and cyclone dust collecting device, and, as a consequence, convenient operation of vacuum cleaner.
