FIELD: fire-extinguishing equipment, particularly powder fire extinguishers adapted to combat fire in closed rooms or in opened space.
SUBSTANCE: fire-extinguishing module comprises sealed body filled with fire-extinguishing powder having chamber with gas-generating charge installed on the body and discharge nozzle mounted in lower body part. The nozzle is provided with diaphragm. Fire-extinguishing powder flow splitter is installed inside the nozzle above the diaphragm so that the splitter may be displaced in nozzle axis direction. The splitter is resiliently connected with rigid member of the module through resilient link made as telescopic rod or spring. Besides, module may be provided with at least one additional chamber having gas-generation charge and initiating device. Rigid module member for resilient link providing is module body or chamber with gas-generation charge and with initiating device in dependence of module structure, wherein the chamber is rigidly connected to module body.
EFFECT: increased operational efficiency due to maintaining pressure of gas-and-powder flow as it flows out of module body, increased completeness of fire-extinguishing powder discharge.
