FIELD: fire fighting equipment. SUBSTANCE: according to one version, module has hermetically sealed casing adapted for hanging and attachment and provided with cavity filled with fire suppressing powder, working fluid source, initiating device, discharge head mounted on cylindrical branch pipe-throat arranged in casing lower part of casing, and locking device, which separates discharge head from casing volume. Discharge head is made in the form of thick-wall cover equipped with dispensing chamber communicated with environment through system of channels formed in side and end walls and having length of from 2 to 25 gages. Channels in cover side walls are oriented with their longitudinal axes at an acute angle to casing longitudinal axis, preferably within the range of 55-80 deg. Channels in cover end wall are oriented with their longitudinal axes at an angle of from 0 deg to 45 deg with respect to casing longitudinal axis. Part of channels in cover walls are made conical, with wider portion oriented toward powder discharge side, and part of channels are made slot-shaped. According to other version, dispensing chamber is communicated with environment through system of branch pipes, which are fixed on cover outer surface and provided with channels having similar angular orientation and shape. Branch pipes may be replaced. Module may be used for fighting ignition of combustibles, liquids, and electric equipment in homes and rooms in industrial enterprises.
