FIELD: soldering process and devices, namely fluxes for soldering and tinning steel, copper and its alloys with use of easy-to-melt solders. SUBSTANCE: flux contains (mass%): carbamide, 0.1 -10; zinc chloride, 3.5 - 50; water - the balance. Selected relation of components of soldering flux allows to substitute it with liquid solder without splashing and smoking up atmosphere at soldering temperature during tinning and soldering steel, copper and its alloys. EFFECT: simple universal flux suitable for manual and automatic modes of heating at soldering by means of solderer, gas-flame burner, by dipping into melt solder. 1 tbl
