FIELD: building materials, in particular fire-proofing materials based on intercalated graphite compounds for civil and military building, industrial construction, etc.
SUBSTANCE: claimed composition contains carbamide-formaldehyde resin as binder, oxidized graphite as oxidizer, pentaerythritol and Na-carboxymethyl cellulose as carbonizing agent, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate as filler, ammonium polyphosphate as curing agent, urea and water as foaming agent, and additionally: n-butylacrylate-styrene copolymer in form of 50 % aqueous dispersion as binder, and iron chloride as curing agent.
EFFECT: environmentally friendly inexpensive coating composition with increased strength, high adhesion to metal surface, cracking resistance.
