FIELD: hydraulic structures, particularly fish passes adapted for passing brood fishes through support structures to spawning and growth areas.
SUBSTANCE: fish hatchery pass has water conveyance path formed as channel and having head end connected to upper pool of hydrosystem and mouth end communicated with lower pool thereof. Fish hatchery pass also includes coarse roughness members installed on channel bottom along the full length thereof and additional through paths having inlet and outlet parts connected to water conveyance path. Additional through paths are symmetrical relative water conveyance path and have common inlet and outlet. Additional through paths are separated by jet directing wall.
EFFECT: creation of favorable conditions for fish passing, rest and entrance in upper pool, provision of rest areas characterized by lesser average flow velocity and adapted to recover energy potential of fish so that fish may hereafter freely swim at cruising velocity towards upper pool.
