FIELD: radio height meters, aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method includes inserting device marks, determined by distance between antennae mounted on aircraft, methodical errors ΔHM of aircraft flight height change are calculated, caused by operation of device on two antennae, these are inputted during making of device into hard memory, normal methods are used to measure flight height Hni, it is then inputted into memory, from it value of methodical error ΔHMi is taken, on measured height Hni it is subtracted from height Hni and received value H = Hni - ΔHMi is presented to user of height information.
EFFECT: higher precision.
