FIELD: navigation systems; flying vehicle control systems of high accuracy of measurement of barometric altitude.
SUBSTANCE: proposed system is used for measurement of barometric altitude Hb.alt. Proposed system is used for location of position with the aid of global system receiver. Flying vehicle plane coordinates are calculated for determination of height hrel. of terrain relief above which flying vehicle is positioned; hrel. is summed up with radio altimeter Hb.alt. and error of altimeter ΔHb.alt. =Hb.alt.-(Hb.alt.+hrel.); then, Hb.alt. is corrected by magnitude ΔHb.alt. and result thus obtained is transmitted to barometric altitude information user.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of determination of barometric altitude of flying vehicle flight.
