FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: cycles for measuring amplitude values of pulsed signals of partial discharges (PD) in given discrete time moments in the region of the maximum value of power-frequency voltage in its negative half-waves using partial discharge sensors, connected to three phases and to a neutral. For each discrete time moment for measurement, only the maximum value of the partial discharge signals is recorded, received from the partial discharge sensors, connected to three phases, without taking into account cases when measured values of partial discharge sensors are equal, as well as cases when the partial discharge signal, received from the partial discharge sensor connected to the neutral assumes the maximum value. The maximum value of apparent charge is defined as the maximum value of detected partial discharge signals taking into account repetition factor or regularity of signals. The repetition factor is defined as the ratio of the number of periods of the power-frequency voltage in one cycle of measuring partial discharge, in which partial discharge signals with the given amplitude were detected, to the total number of periods in that cycle.
EFFECT: increased noise immunity and reliability of measurement.
