FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed ground clamp used in portable grounding electrodes for grounding disconnected conductors of overhead power transmission lines has electrodynamic loop incorporating two circuits, main and additional ones, which raises effectiveness of inherent composite electrodynamic circuit and ensures its high operating efficiency in stabilizing contact resistance of clamp-to-ground-conductor pair under emergency conditions as additional circuit incorporated in proposed clamp is made in situ in functionally justified proximity of contact assembly.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of stabilizing contact resistance in clamp-to-ground-conductor pair under emergency conditions.
