FIELD: fish industry, in particular, methods for producing of feed flour from fish processing wastes.
SUBSTANCE: method involves producing protein-mineral feed flour from fish processing wastes, preferably from fish scale, by drying crude material and grinding thereof; before processing, adding into crude material fish skin in an amount of from 50% to 75% by weight of crude material. During processing of frozen wastes, before drying of crude material, fish scale and skin are preliminarily ground; in case fresh or frozen crude material is used, it is washed, excessive moisture is removed, for example by additional pressing, with following grinding and directing for drying. Final product is powder of from white to dark brown color tints depending upon content of fat and pigment substances in crude material.
EFFECT: improved quality of feed product and maximal utilization of fish processing wastes.
