METHOD OF PRODUCING FODDER FOR POND FISH Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A23K50/80 A23K10/22

Abstract RU 2621991 C1

FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: method of producing fodder for pond fish includes grinding secondary fish raw material, heating it, mixing the recipe components, packaging and storage. The secondary products of fish cutting, such as heads, scales, fins, bones, obtained after fish cutting, are ground on a meat mincing machine with the diametre of openings of 2-3 mm. The ground raw material obtained is immediately preserved by treating it with formic acid taken in an amount of 0.5% by weight of the raw material. Thereinafter the resulting mixture is heated to the temperature of +40-50°C for 3-5 hours. Thereinafter, as an enzyme preparation, pond fish entrails are added in the amount of 30% to the weight of raw materials, and as the protein component - prepared raw material from plant components: peas - 11.0%, corn - 7.0%, barley - 12.72%, and a vegetable hydrolyzate based on wheat bran in the amount of 14.28% of the weight of raw materials. After mixing the recipe components, the mixture is held for 45 minutes at 98÷100°C with occasional stirring. The mixture is then cooled to the temperature of 20°C, and the premix PM-1 is added in the amount of 5% to the total weight. The resulting fodder is thoroughly stirred and frozen in blocks until the temperature in the block center reaches minus 18°C. The frozen fish fodder for fish is packed in packages from polymeric materials, with the extreme product weight from 1.0 to 15.0 kg. The frozen food for pond fish is stored at the temperature of minus 18°C during 6 months.

EFFECT: implementation of invention allows to reduce and simplify the fodder production technology, to improve the quality and feeding value of the fodder, to realise a waste-free technology for processing secondary products of cutting pond fish, to increase the shelf life of the finished product due to reducing the rate of oxidation processes, to reduce the costs for drying the fodder and to reduce the cost of the product obtained.
