FIELD: packing means, particularly containers of polygonal cross-section specially constructed to contain liquids.
SUBSTANCE: packing container for liquid products formed of plastically deformable materials has cuboids shape and is formed by creating folds in blank or by other shaping methods. After that the blanks are connected by welding, heat sealing or by other sealing methods to create air-tight vessels. Container is composed of two similarly-shaped tray-like vessels by placing them so that edge flanges thereof face each other. Sheet partition is inserted between the vessels and the vessels are connected by sealing edge flanges to create common flange. The resultant container includes two isolated vessels. The common flange may be bent and secured to end walls of the container. Each tray-like vessel is formed of flat rectangular blank divided by fold lines into separate parts forming bottom, side and end walls. One wall may include valve to provide filling, sealing and pouring content from the container. The valve may have arbitrary shape. The vessel also has corned members including triangular areas defined by fold lines, end and corner flanges formed so that corner members of adjacent walls are bent inwards along fold lines. Each tray-like vessel has cuboids shape and end flanges thereof are bent outwards and extend in parallel to bottom thereof. Each corner flange is bent onto two adjacent flanges and flush with them along with simultaneous forming triangular parts of above corners defining dovetails in cross sections. End and corned flange parts to be connected are previously secured by adhesion or welding to create a single end flange along the full perimeter.
EFFECT: possibility to increase time of liquid freshness in opened container, possibility to simultaneously pack two liquids in single container, increased capacity due to reinforced structural members, reduced material consumption, improved air-tightness.
