SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a vanadium-phosphate compound β-VOHPO4*H2O characterizing with powdery diffraction of roentgen rays showing a monoclinic cell with the space group P21/c, a = 6.9 E; b = 7.36 E; β = 104.8°; V = 455.3 E3 wherein a, b, c, β and V - parameters of monoclinic cell. Also, invention relates to vanadium-phosphate compound (VO)3(PO4)3*5 H2O characterizing powdery diffraction of roentgen rays showing a monoclinic cell with the space group P21/c, a = 19.77 E; b = 7.303 E; c = 9.226 E; β = 104.07° and V = 1311.5 E3 wherein a, b, c, β, V - are parameters of a monoclinic cell. Also, invention represents highly active precursors of vanadium-phosphate catalyst used in selective oxidation of hydrocarbon raw.
