FIELD: optics and electronics.
SUBSTANCE: transformer is characterized by presence of a dielectric substrate, on front side the substrate is covered by aluminum mirror, upon which positioned serially are working layer of VO2 and external protective dielectric layer, where working layer of VO2 contains oxide layers: surface layer of V2O5 and lower layer of V3O5, V2O3, VO, with percent ratio of aforementioned layers represented by following values of parts of their total: V2O5 - 5%, VO2 - 75%,V3O5, V2O3, VO - 20% respectively, and optical thicknesses of layers of film structure with refraction coefficients corresponding to aforementioned layers are subject to expressions: n1d1=n2d2=0,27 and n3d3=0,0115 where n1=1,38...1,69, n2=2,35, n3=1,15 - refraction characteristics of protective layer, oxide layer of vanadium, aluminum mirror respectively, and d1,d2,d3 - thicknesses of film layers of structure, in micrometers.
EFFECT: increased brightness contrast of image, preserved diffraction efficiency in adjacent infrared part of spectrum and ensured capacity for operation under conditions of influence of external environmental factors.
