FIELD: mechanical engineering; piston machines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed resonant-type piston machine with crank-and-connecting rod mechanism set into rotation by first actuating-and-control device and movable articulated support set into motion by second actuating-and-control device contains additionally shaft angular velocity pickup, movable support linear displacement pickup whose position determines dead space volume, cooling medium temperature transmitter, ambient pressure transmitter and microprocessor control system. Microprocessor control system, in its turn, contains unit with mathematical model of piston machine operation, first comparator unit and second comparator unit. Output signals from shaft angular velocity pickup, ambient temperature transmitter and ambient pressure transmitter are supplied to input of unit with mathematical model of piston machine operation. Output signal of shaft angular velocity pickup and calculated value of shaft angular velocity corresponding to resonance mode from output of unit with mathematically model of piston machine operation are supplied to input of first comparator unit. Signal from output of first comparator unit is supplied to input of first actuating-and-control device. Output signal from movable support linear displacement pickup and calculated value of dead space volume corresponding to resonant mode from output of unit with mathematical model of piston machine operation are supplied to inputs of second comparator unit. Signal from output of second comparator unit is supplied to input of second actuating-and-control device. Position of movable articulated support of piston machine is automatically adjusted to provide minimum piston machine shaft angular velocity irregularity factor. Execution of said condition means that piston machine is adjusted to resonant mode of operation.
EFFECT: automatic maintenance of resonant operating mode in piston machine.
