FIELD: antenna engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed antenna which is characterized in frequency-independent directivity pattern and can be used in radio devices as transmitting and receiving antenna during generation of super-short electromagnetic radiation pulses has TEM-wave transmission line and metal screen installed on its open end. Novelty is connection of active load whose impedance is lower than or equal to wave impedance of TEM-wave transmission line to open end of this TEM-wave transmission line.
EFFECT: ability of radiating undistorted electromagnetic field pulse in pulsed mode of operation.
