FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna equipment and is intended for use as an ultra-broadband beam antenna or an element of an ultra-broadband antenna array in radio engineering systems. Substance: an additional dielectric layer is introduced into the dielectric substrate (1) of the antenna, with a thickness equal to that of the contained layer, whereon a second metal plate (2) identical to the first one is located. The rectangular notches (5) have a width λlow/20, are made in the areas of the metal plates defined by distances in λ low/8 to the power line and λlow/5 to the upper antenna aperture boundaries, and are placed with an offset no less than λlow/5 from the aperture boundaries. One part of the resonator (4) is semicircular, and the other part, oriented in the direction from the slot, is rectangular. Equidistant additional rectangular notches (6) with identical length and width, symmetrical relative to the longitudinal direction, are made in the lower part of the metal plates with a pitch equal to the width of a single notch. One side of the notches is aligned with the lateral boundary of the dielectric substrate (1), and the other side is placed with an offset no less than λn/5 from the power line (6).
EFFECT: creation of a structurally simple ultra-broadband modified Vivaldi antenna, manufacturability, increase in the gain coefficient of the Vivaldi antenna in the lower part of the frequency range without the main lobe of the directivity pattern narrowing, reduction in the level of mutual influence of antennas placed in an antenna array due to the reduction in the lateral and reverse electromagnetic wave emission in a wide band of working frequencies.
