FIELD: radio communication and radar systems. SUBSTANCE: antenna that enables radiation and reception of super-short pulses of subnanosecond length has at least four or more equiangular horn-shaped radiators spatially combined into radiator groups, four horns per group, so that polarization planes of first pair of horns in each radiator group are disposed in horizontal plane and those of second pair of horns, in vertical plane. Number of radiator groups N is found from equation M = 4n-1, where n is number of signal division layers. Each radiator group is connected to first-layer signal divider so that first and second outputs of the latter are directly connected to first pair of horns ; third and fourth outputs of first- layer signal divider are connected to second pair of horns through respective delay lines, and input of first-layer signal divider is connected to one of outputs of second-layer signal divider. Number of signal dividers of each higher layer is smaller by four times than that of next- layer signal dividers. Input of n-layer signal divider functions as antenna input. EFFECT: provision for measuring and receiving super-short pulses of subnanosecond length. 1 cl, 7 dwg
