FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device has a main and two additional Vivaldi radiators lying at an angle of 120° to the main radiator, and a signal divider. The signal is transmitted to the main radiator directly, with delay Δt to the first additional radiator and with delay 2 Δt to the second additional radiator, where the time Δt is equal to a third of the duration of the input pulse.
EFFECT: design of an ultra-wideband circularly polarised antenna based on a Vivaldi antenna, which provides radiation and emission of ultra-wideband ultrashort pulses of sub-nanosecond duration, capable of operating in radiation mode and generate in space of a circularly polarised ultra-wideband ultrashort pulse which propagates in a given wide sector of angular directions, receive in the wide sector of angular directions a circularly polarised ultra-wideband ultrashort pulse and transmit it to a feeder line.
