FIELD: oars.
SUBSTANCE: proposed articulated oar has shank, lever with rigidly secured blade, rod and rowlock forming tetragonal articulated system. End of oar handle has ear; second rod with ear is articulated on axle of said rod. Second rod and handle are articulated to L-shaped handle-holder forming (together with rowlock) articulated parallelogram system.
EFFECT: increase of speed; enhanced efficiency; improved conditions for oarsman.
