FIELD: manufacture of foil bags.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device contains at least one feed roll holder installed for setting into motion by drive, at least one transport device to move foil from feed roll held by holder, and at least one foil-receiving mechanism arranged between feed roll holder and transport device and provided with at least one stationary deflecting roller and first and second floating rollers held in movable supports and around which foil passes. To regulate drive of feed roll holder, foil-receiving mechanism is formed depending on distance between first and/or second floating roller and deflecting roller. Supports of first and second floating rollers are suspended from at least one flexible hanger whose travel is directed by deflecting roller so that these supports are connected with provision of at least partial compensation of action of weight of said floating rollers. Controlled unwinding of foil from feed roll, prevention of action of uncontrolled tension forces on foil.

EFFECT: provision of controlled unwinding of foil.
