FIELD: timber industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lifting-and-transporting mechanisms and it can be in guide devices for cable systems. Proposed block has combination with groove installed on axle and made of modified wood sectors forming central disk with end face arrangement of wood fibers on surfaces in contact with support and with cable, said disk being clamped between two metal disks. Central disk rests through its surface from side of inner diameter of saddle-shaped support surface, one half of which is made on metal bushing fitted for sliding on axle. Clearance is formed between saddle-shaped support surface and corresponding surface of roller for deflection of roller in either side. Second half of saddle-shaped surface is made in thickening on axle. Sizes of thickening correspond to sizes of bushing. Thickening and bushing elements are installed opposite top each other in mirror-like manner.
EFFECT: simplified design of support surface for block roller.
