FIELD: biotechnology, microbiology.
SUBSTANCE: invention elates to methods for sanitary-hygienic control in manufacturing foodstuffs of animal origin. Method involves detection of microorganisms of colon bacillus group in a sample by change of color of liquid nutrient medium for microorganisms wherein a mixture of medium KODA or XB and catholyte with pH 7-9 and oxidative-reductive potential -370 mV is used taken in the volume ratio = 1:(0.5-1.0). Assay of color change from green to yellow is carried out after keeping a sample at temperature 18-25°C for 5-8 h. Invention provides significant diminishing time for detection of microorganisms of colon bacillus group in simultaneous reducing temperature in carrying out analysis. Invention can be used in dairy and meet-processing branches of industry.
EFFECT: improved detecting method of microorganisms.
