FIELD: biotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: method is proposed, including extraction of a biomaterial, extraction of a bacterial DNA, amplification of DNA fragments in the examined strain by PCR method with application of a unique set of oligonucleotide primers, where products of amplification are separated by means of electrophoresis in agarose gel. The PCR results determine simultaneously all three genes, which are taken into account by visualisation through dyeing with etidium bromide. Availability of pathogenicity genes in the examined biomaterial in strains Escherichia coli is determined by dimensions of produced DNA fragments: fim A - 248 base pairs, hly A,B,C - 233 base pairs, pap C - 251 base pairs.
EFFECT: invention may be used in medicine to detect genital coliform bacilli with pathogenicity factors by method of molecular hybridisation.
