FIELD: flow control devices.

SUBSTANCE: device has block for forming and analyzing electric pulses, connected minimally to two reversible electro-acoustic transformation devices, each of which has direction diagram with opening angle no less than 60° in different planes of cross-section and is positioned on measuring portion of pipeline in such a way, that axis of direction diagram is perpendicular to longitudinal axis of pipeline. Outer emitting surface of each electro-acoustic transformation device is combined with inner surface of pipeline. Process of measuring flow includes determining difference in time of passing along flow and against flow of ultrasound oscillations emitted by at least two electro-acoustic transformation devices, which pass directly from transformation device to transformation device and through multiple or one-time reflection from inner surface of pipeline.

EFFECT: simplified construction, higher efficiency.
