APPARATUS FOR DESTRUCTING OF CEDAR NUT ENCLOSURE Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: forestry, in particular, equipment for extraction of cedar nut nucleus.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has charging hopper filled with cedar nuts, pipe union, disk provided with internal channel equipped with thrust belt. Cutting members are provided within guiding branch pipe, which adjoins disk. Cutting members are successively arranged in two mutually perpendicular planes at an angle to longitudinal axis of guiding branch pipe and are spring-loaded. Extraction of cedar nut nucleus is performed by imparting kinetic energy to cedar nut owing to dynamic action of compressed air, followed by contacting of cedar nuts with number of cutting members and collision thereof with striking surface to thereby destruct enclosure and release nucleus.

EFFECT: improved quality of cleaning the extracted cedar nut nucleus and provision for keeping nutritive properties and continuity thereof.
