FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises working the faces of blanks, covering the faces with hydrocarbon composition, connecting the faces worked, squeezing the blanks connected, and heating the butt zone by high-frequency currents. The butt zone is heated with a loop inductor up to the welding temperature, the heating then stops for 1-2 s, and additional heating pulse is generated up to the temperature of welding that is 0.8-0.9 of the melting temperature.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of connection.
