FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for solid joint of parts with lengthwise and closed circular seams. Parts 1 to be welded are arranged back-to-back along the line of their joint. Rotary welding tool 5 is introduced in the joint zone and moved along joint line to form welding zone. Simultaneously, joint is subjected to induction heating with the help of inductor 6. Additionally, parts material is subjected to ultrasound-frequency electromagnetic pulses fed by pulsed current generator 9 connected to inductor 6 to ensure higher-pressure zones on material surface.
EFFECT: higher density of uniform seam all around section, ruling out overlaps on welded joint edges, reduced wear of welding tool.
