FIELD: electronics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method for controlling transistor cascade whose controlled collector-emitter circuit incorporates inductance coil includes organization of conditions for permanently holding transistor in cut-off state by bias voltage across transistor base; in the process collector-emitter voltage reduces below base-emitter voltage, base-collector junction remains inversely biased, and potential barrier appears for carrier transfer from base to collector thereby enabling gradual accumulation of spatial charge in base region which functions as conducting channel for short-circuit current between poles of transistor cascade power supply through inductance coil and transistor junctions.
EFFECT: ability of generating short-time and high-amplitude pulses.
