FIELD: medicine; medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method involves placing patient in position allowing general relaxation, covering the face with nutritious cream, wetting face immediately before starting massage with humidifier containing feeding additives and making facial massage. The facial massage is carried out with additional rhythmic and arrhythmic patting. Face skin and muscle condition is determined visually and/or in contact manner by means of hand palms in process of smearing with nutritious cream and carrying out relaxation massage. The obtained information allows determining the number and duration of massage sessions, treatment time, to select force and frequency of vibration treatment and working massage surface type. Temperature conditions are supported during massage procedure on particular face areas by varying massage apparatus temperature from 20 to 40°C. The device has two massage members connected with handle, one of which is manufactured as hollow oblate ellipsoid two sides of which form massage surfaces. One of them has active massage elements and the other is smooth. The second massage element is shaped as cylinder which axis is in perpendicular to massage device axis. The massage surfaces have holes of 0.05 to 1 mm large diameter. Active elements of one of massage surfaces are manufactured as longitudinally arranged protrusions or recesses having walls tilted at 15 to 45°. The holes are positioned between the active massage elements or in their central part. Holes are uniformly distributed over the smooth massage surface. A hole is available near the place where the handle is adjacent to hollow massage element.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in smoothing and reducing the number of wrinkles and improving face skin tint.
