FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology, petroleum chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves chemical conversion of tert.-alkenate(s) in the parent mixture to high-octane components in reaction zone(s) in the presence of (C1-C4)-alcohols(s) and a strong-acid solid catalyst. As minimum, part of unreacted hydrocarbons with impurity of alcohol(s) is distilled off from the reaction mixture followed by aqueous washing out the distilled off flow from alcohol(s) and extraction of alcohol(s) from an aqueous-alcoholic mixture(s) by extraction with the parent tert.-alkene-containing mixture feeding then to reaction zone(s) of chemical conversion of tert.-alkenes.
EFFECT: improved processing method.
