FIELD: drive belts and methods of manufacture of such belts.
SUBSTANCE: proposed belt has body 10 made from elastomer material, member 20 working in tension and located along length of body 10, many teeth 15 located over body 10 and provided with first surface for engagement with sprocket; they are made across length of body 10 at preset pitch; belt is also provided with layer 30 made from polyethylene at superhigh molecular mass within range of 3000000 to 7000000 g/mole at preset thickness; it is connected with teeth 15; belt is also provided with elastomer layer placed between member 20 working in tension and layer 30 made from polyethylene at superhigh molecular mass.
EFFECT: reduction of dusting and forming of wastes during operation of belt.
