FIELD: medicine, abdominal surgery.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with performing gastrectomy. One should mobilize duodenum together with its caput and, partially, with pancreas body. Duodenal stump should be sutured in with a double-row interrupted suture followed by applying a terminolateral esophagoduodenoanastomosis at obtaining a reservoir out of duodenal stump being above anastomosis at the angle of 30° against anastomosis: for this purpose one should fix posterior wall of esophageal abdominal portion to duodenal stump by making per 3 sutures laterally in oral direction. Anastomosis should be applied between esophagus and anterior-lateral wall of duodenal bulb by lancing it cross-sectionally 4 cm against the stump's end. Then one should form anastomosis of 2-2.5 cm diameter, fix duodenal stump to diaphragmatic pedicle. The innovation in question enables to decrease post-gastrectomic complications.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of operation.
