FIELD: production of articles made from glass ceramics of lithium aluminosilicate composition; ceramic and aviation industries; manufacture of nose dielectric cones for flying vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes the following main operations: drying of blanks at temperature of 120-250°C for 1-2 h; stepped burning of blanks first at nucleation temperature of 630-670°C continued for 5 h and then at upper crystallization and sintering temperature of 1230-1250°C continued for 4-7 h followed by cooling of kiln to temperature of 250-300°C. Drying and burning at nucleation temperature are performed in low-temperature kiln after which blanks are cooled to temperature of 250°C and final burning is performed at upper crystallization and sintering temperature. Proposed method makes it possible to reduce duration of heat treatment of large-sized ceramic articles of complex profiles in high-temperature firing kilns and consumption of power by 15% at high level of quality of articles.
EFFECT: reduction of time of heat treatment of articles.
