FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of large-size ceramic articles for radio engineering purposes. Method of making articles from glass-ceramic lithium-aluminosilicate composition involves grinding of pre-crystallized lithium-aluminosilicate glass by wet method to obtain a slurry with given parameters, preliminary molding in gypsum molds of workpieces of arbitrary shape, their repeated processing into a slurry, molding of articles and thermal treatment. Preliminary crystallization of lithium-aluminosilicate glass is carried out in containers of glass-ceramic lithium-aluminosilicate composition at rate of temperature rise of 200–300 °C/h first at nucleation temperature of 630–670 °C, and then at crystallization temperature of 1,170–1,250 °C for 6–12 hours, wherein glass layer in vessel does not exceed 200 mm.
EFFECT: high efficiency of crystallization of the initial lithium aluminosilicate glass and high quality of the material.
