FIELD: road building materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to binders for pavements and can be used in road and airdrome buildings as well as in manufacture of roofs and waterproofing products. Binder contains 90.0-97.0% bitumen, 1.0-4.0% rubber, and 2.0-6.0% plasticizing solvent, said rubber being composed of low-molecular weight polyolefins with molecular weight 500 to 5000, and said plasticizing solvent being propylene trimer and tetramer production waste made up of propylene oligomer C15 mixture.
EFFECT: increased adhesion of binder to surface of mineral material of asphalt-concrete mix, lowered fragility temperature, improved binder elasticity characteristics, and reduced preparation temperature.
