FIELD: technology for drying foodstuffs.
SUBSTANCE: device has evaporator-cooler, separator, cold drying chamber, capacitor-heater, electric heater, warm drying chamber, ventilator, compressor, regenerative heat exchanger in coolant recirculation system, throttling valve, valves for outlet and recirculation of processed air, valve for inlet of outer air (drying agent). System for circulation of drying agent additionally has regenerative heat exchanger, which is mounted between capacitor heater and electric heater. Drying plant allows substantial decrease of energy costs due to use of heat of processed drying agent. Processed air is redirected to regenerative heat exchanger, where its temperature is decreased, providing decrease of heat load on cooler-evaporator in cycle with regeneration and appropriately, lower energy costs of cold production.
EFFECT: decreased temperature of processed air increases its temperature before electric heater, lowering costs of reaching temperature of drying agent before warm drying chamber by electric heater according to technology.
